Hoboken Mayoral Runoff Shocker

OK, it was not quite a shocker. But, if we used the ring finger it would have been.



The only question left on the table has been answered.

Who will be involved in the run off election for Mayor of Hoboken? Now we have the answer.

It will be:
Dawn Zimmer vs. Peter Cammarano
or
Peter Cammarano vs. Dawn Zimmer, depending on who you ask.

Many had Beth Mason as a front runner going into election day, but all the money, blog PR, overwhelming litter on windshields, and commercials seem to have amounted to write-offs.

We are left to choose from two campaigns that have been run honorably. Squeaky clean by Hudson County standards, actually.

Hopefully the next couple weeks or so will not be full of gossip and inconsequential personal attacks. But, it is Hudson County. And this is an election. What would the rest of the country think if we did not act like little children fighting over the sandbox?
